The Traditional English Afternoon Tea

Being one of the most famous afternoon tea places in London, a reservation is required preferably at least a month in advance. The Traditional Afternoon tea is served in Palm Court that is an elegant tea room, with gold details and glittering chandeliers, the ambiance enhanced with piano music. We had an eye-pleasing selection of sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and sweet pastries and teacakes. Tea collection is broad, including 18 different types to choose from. The price for the afternoon tea is £54, and with a champagne, it is slightly higher £71.

The service was impeccable, everything went smoothly and there was always someone to take care of you from the very beginning to end. Overall, the experience was very good, and I would certainly go there again, for more formal occasions. I would not recommend eating much beforehand as the selection is very broad and tempting, making you crave for every single pastry and teacake.
