Nobu – Mayfair, London

Nobu is an intercontinental award-winning restaurant chain, originally founded by master chef Nobu Matsuhisa. After celebrating a friend’s Birthday party at the place, I realised why it is acclaimed to be one of the most fashionable restaurants in the world. The food was brilliant in all aspects and the atmosphere was special. Despite all tables being booked over the two floors and busy Friday evening, the staff managed to pay full attention all the time and the noise on the background was minimised by complete acoustics, making the evening even more unique.

Nobu serves modern Japanese-Peruvian cuisine and their menu includes both signature dishes with many new items. The restaurant offers something to everyone and is an absolute heaven for seafood lovers. After dinner, you can continue for cocktails downstairs where the signature bar is open until 2 AM during the weekends. Nobu has also opened their third location in Shoreditch, within Nobu Hotel Shoreditch, that is a worth trying.
