The Ivy Chelsea Garden, Chelsea, London

The Ivy Chelsea Garden serves modern British food and delicious cocktails and is a perfect place for a lunch date with a friend or colleague. The décor is visually pleasing with opulent colours, including dark red and green. In addition to the restaurant, it has a 3,500 square foot outdoor terrace and paved garden, filled with water fountains, marble tables, and pergolas covered in rose vine. During winter time, you can still enjoy a cosy dinner in their garden, sitting by the fireplace and cover yourself with warm blankets.

As a regular customer, I can whole-heartedly say that the food has always been tasty and well-made. My all-time favourite is scared yellowfin tuna and zucchini fritti as a side, accompanied with ‘Lavender lady’ cocktail. For truffle lovers, the mouth-watering ‘Truffle arancini’ is also worthy of trying.

The customer service is excellent yet quick, the staff is very attentive and are knowledgeable about the food they are serving. Furthermore, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making you able to relax and enjoy the time with your family or friends. When it comes to pricing, it is very reasonable, taking into account the quality of food and sophisticated settings. Unlike in many popular London restaurants, there you can have a real conversation and even meet for business purposes.

Don’t forget to check out the Ivy’s other branches in Covent Garden, Marylebone and City – they all have the very same menu but the atmosphere differs slightly, depending what you are specifically looking for.
